17.12.2016 Blessing

The Lord gives us His blessing and often we do not even beliefe that He will come tu us, the humble persons. So did Mary – she frightened when the angel came and said to her:”The mercy of the Lord is with you”.

Luke 1 :46-56 Mary answered:

My soul magnifies the Lord,
47     and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
48 For He has regarded
the low estate of His servant;
surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed.
49 For He who is mighty has done great things for me,
and holy is His name.
50 His mercy is on those who fear Him
from generation to generation.
51 He has shown strength with His arm;
He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52 He has pulled down the mighty from their thrones
and exalted those of low degree.
53 He has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich He has sent away empty.
54 He has helped His servant Israel,
in remembrance of His mercy,
55 as He spoke to our fathers,
to Abraham and to his descendants forever.”

About repentance –  Repentance is the only way back to our Lord. Often somebody feels  repentance because what he did, was a disvantage to him – this is not the real repentance that we should have. Faithful repentance is different, it is the pain that we feel of having done the wrong and the wish to do it never more, to keep distance to the sins that distress God. The wrong way to feel repentance we see by Judas Iscariot after having betrayed Jesus – he committed suicide.  Jesus tells us to remember returning to the place where we had failed  “When You don´t repent, I come to You and extinguish Your light” -Apocalypse 2.5  Repentance needs 5 steps to  be called sincere: 1. Confession of the error made, 2. To hate the sin, 3. To acknowledge to God that we had sinned, 4. Desertion of the sin, 5. Forget the sin.  We can see this when jesus gave order to the angel of the church in Efesos, when He said:” … Repent and go back to do the work from the beginning …”(Apocalypse 2.5)  Every kind of disobedience or obedience has its consequences. Later  or soon we get the fruits from our behavior, because this is the law of  ponderous  nature intrinsic. We collect the fruits that we had planted yesterday today and those that we plant today we collect tomorrow. It is necessary to wait a certain time to be able to harvest – it is not easy to wait – some people forget during their lives to maintain the level of work that we need to belong to God´s people.  If we are dissociated from the body of the Lord, we are like the vines that are cut off the  vineyard. When we think that it is possible to combine the carnal desire with the fruits of the Holy Spirit, we are on the wrong way down. because those who are with the carnal desires cannot please the Lord. “Because the one dependant of the flesh is going the way of death and cannot come to life and peace, that is the Holy Spirit.”   Listen what the Spirit tells us : ” To the winners he gives the nourishment of the tree of life, that is to be found in the paradise of God.” During His staying on earth He used the words: “Who is able to hear – listen! ” (Matthew 11:15; 13:9,43; Mark 4:9; Luke 8:8; 14:35). Mostly at the end of His speach this words otherwise where used. It is obviously very difficult to listen ! The Lord had the same problem with His auditory that we have today – people  listen to the things that give them money, personal success, even Christians are not free from such temptations. The words of the Lord mostly cannot provoke an echo in the hearts of His children. Therefore the failure of the churches nowadays and the stranding of many christians. How it is possible to the servant to know what the chief wants when he is not in contact with him ?? Nobody is able to reach the purpose without effort. God promises us the sweet fruits in paradise. We have to put on the weapons of God to be strong and firm and able to fight against everything that wants to separate us from Him.
