Agra is a city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. There is the well-known Taj Mahal, a mausoleum that Mughal Mughal Shah Jahan had built for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, who died in childbirth in 1631. The imposing main building has a massive dome and an artfully carved white marble facade set with precious stones. It is located behind a reflective pool in a courtyard and is surrounded by 4 minarets.
Even if the city with great riches blinds the eyes of tourists, this beautiful city is also home to the bitterest poverty. With the help of the ACD association and local organizations, attempts are now being made to alleviate the suffering and poverty of the common people.
The most important thing is food and education. With lessons for the poorest, the basis for a better life is created.
The ACD-Kinderhilfe asks its members and patrons to help so that the children do not have to go to school barefoot. Every little contribution helps. Open your heart and donate for these children:
