Baptism 2016

Baptism os one of the most important issues in the life of Christians. On 18th of September some persons came to be baptized – they wanted to show their belonging and believing in God our Savior.

Jesus very often had spoken about baptism, he showed us the importance for every person and as an example Jesus himselve went to the river Jordan and told John to baptize Him.

Baptism is not only to be diven under water, but the meaning is to be washed up inside and outside  – to be free of the “old I myself”. Everything that had been inside the person is now deleted, when coming out of the water there is everything new – all negative thoughts and everything bad is away – the person is a newborn one. From now on the love of the Lord is working inside the newborn person and helping to maintain this new life. As Jesus rised up after his burial, Christians get the strenght to live renewed.

We wish a new life in Jesus  to

Romans 6: 2 God forbid! How shall we, who are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

3 Know ye not that as many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death?

4 Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, so we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection,

6 knowing this: that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

John 3: 5  Jesus answered, “Verily, verily I say unto thee, unless a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.

Acts: 8: 12 – But when they believed Philip’s preaching of the things concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.   13  Then Simon himself believed also; and when he was baptized he continued with Philip and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

Mathew 3:13 Then came Jesus from Galilee to the Jordan unto John to be baptized by him.
