Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered.
2 Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity,
and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
3 For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long.
4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me;
my strength was dried up as by the heat of summer.
I acknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.
You are a hiding place for me;
you preserve me from trouble;
you surround me with shouts of deliverance.
Many are the sorrows of the wicked,
but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the Lord.
11 Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous,
and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!
The religious man struggles at heart to be near our Lord, he suffers to be able to know the secrets of the connection to god, he hopes to be granted by the Lord. Aren´t we sometimes physically and spiritually sick and need a doctor? Our Lord is our physician for the soul and for the body. Modern medicine knowledge is coming back to the roots and trying to heal humans not only by examinating the body but also finding out what is the spiritual reason of the illness. It is important to see the human as a complex individual person, because mostly that what seems an illness of the human body is an illness of the psyche. “Heal me!” we say to our physician, – “Heal me!” we also cry to our Lord, when we are in trouble and do not know how to get out of severe danger, we pray, we implore and put our inner heart out to show god that we trust in Him. The Lord showed often enough that he is able to heal the blind, the paralysed. When He has touched the eyes of the blind, not only the physical vision of the man recovered but also the spiritual vision changed. Jesus washed the sins away and the man could begin a new life in the love of our Jesus. Our prayer often is done to receive something, to get out of trouble, but also the deep gratefulness for the good things the Lord provides for us, for the persons that He gives besides us to help us and to get nearer to Him and with them we can be members of the body that is moulding the big body of the followers of the Lord. The grace and blessing of Jesus is always with us, but sometimes we are not able to feel it, having a veil hiding our eyes and while busy with insignificant things. Let us listen deep in our heart, let us read the words of the Lord in the Bible, let us go the straight way to Him!! Than we will receive His protection and the Holy Spirit will be working inside our soul.
