Micah: 4: 1-2

1 In the last days, the mountain of the LORD ’s house will be the highest of all— the most important place on earth. It will be raised above the other hills, and people from all over the world will stream there to worship.

2 People from many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of Jacob’s God. There he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the LORD ’s teaching will go out from Zion; his word will go out from Jerusalem.

In daily life we know that not everybody is able to climb up mountains, especially not the highest. So it is, when we climb up the “mountain of our Lord”. It needs strenght, effort, deprivation, persistence ; but the more we get to the top, the more we look around and can see the change, the new vision, the better we feel with the expectation of the coming.

Psalm 4 tells us that the Lord listens to us when we call Him, and we know that He leads His saints.

Yes, we need His help, when we want to reach the top of the mountain. He gives us strenght and encourages us, when we feel  weak and seem to fall down – when we think it would be easyer to turn around and go back – back to sin and anarchy.

But the Lord is faithfu !  HE  ABANDONES  US  NOT  !!

Let us open our arms and receive the help of our Lord – let it hand down to our neighbour, because the Lord gives in abundance to those who believes in Him, and so they can give to the others.

Mose had the Lord´s help and support, and so he was able to lead out his people. We are the chosen ones, from the beginning, to climb up the mountain with the help of our Lord and take all them with us who fight against the devil. When we throw away everything that botheres us, every ballast, then it will be more easily, because the expectance will give us wings. The prayer will reforce us, love guides us on the veritable way. Even when we fall down and have difficulties to stand up again, the assurance that our Lord had given to us, will spur us on.
