At ACD-SCHOOL the children returned to begin to study during the new school-year. Clergy Fernando Gomes made the report what happens now:

This Year we have 187 pupils, but till now there are only 141 attending lessons. As there is the costume in Guinea Bissau to begin school in Oktober – only private schools usually begin in September – the children are still liking their free days.

Some parents also do not matriculate their children because they fear not to have money for buying material and clothes for school. But till Oktober surely there will be 240 children to learn at the ACD-school.

Lessons will be in 7 groups in the morning and 7 groups in the afternoon.

3 groups with 3ear old children and 3 groups with 4year old children (kindergarden)

2 groups in pre-school

2 groups in 1st school-year and 2 in 2nd school-year

1 group in 3rd and one in 4th year

The director, 7 teachers, 1 housekeeper and 1 guardian are the staff to manage the school.
